Cluttered Attic Thrift

OMG LOOK WHAT I FOUND!! ^_^

My little cousin has wanted one of these for a while now, but they always cost too much at the mall. But Cluttered Attic Thrift has come to the rescue!! This Poo-Chi seems to be intact and it actually had batteries in it, so I could test it! There’s a little bit of chipped plastic on one of its rear paws, but I couldn’t find any other obvious flaws.

I gotta take a minute to talk about the rest of their selection too. The toy selection is great, as you might guess! Especially the electronic/modern toy selection is surprisingly good, but there are also a bunch of simpler toys. I found one of the store-brand LEGO sets I loved as a little kid! :’D

The clothing selection isn’t particularly big but the pieces I found seemed to be nice quality, better than the average chain thrift store. Also they have a quite a lot of jewellery! I found a pendant necklace a lot like the one I’m wearing in this photo (thanks to my friend Amber for taking the photo – hopefully I can get a better camera soon so we don’t have to use the disposable ones!). I might come back here when I wanna buy more jewellery.

Overall, I SO recommend Cluttered Attic Thrift! You won’t be disappointed.

Lucky Finds Second Hand

Check out this funky mug!! I feel like the main character in a fantasy RPG game with this crystal relic. (There’s always crystals with some kind of power, aren’t there?!)

I gotta highlight the kitchenware section of Lucky Finds Second Hand! It was soooooo extensive. There were a lot of porcelain and glass dishes, which I might have to show my mum if I manage to drag her along with me on one of my thrifting trips. ;) They seemed to be nice and heavy and good quality, although I’m not an expert on porcelain things.

There was a nice selection of kid’s and otherwise non-traditional dishes as well – that’s where I found this mug! I also saw a set of mixing bowls where all the bowls were one of the colours of the rainbow, and a kid’s lunch box set that had Jigglypuff on it!

The clothing selection was also really big. I found a huge variety of different styles, and some of the clothing was super high quality! I almost caved in and bought a pink denim jacket, but I already have two denim jackets so I forced myself to leave it behind. And I guess the pink one was a tiny bit too big for me anyways…

I really liked Lucky Finds Second Hand! Especially if you’re looking for kitchenware or clothing, it’s a fantastic choice. =^.^=

Golden Egg Flea Market

This one is a little bit different, because it’s a store where a bunch of people rent space and sell their own stuff instead of single business seller. Like a huge car boot sale! Because of that, the selection is less curated, and you need to scour all the aisles because everything is mixed in all willy-nilly. Kind of makes it more difficult to look for anything specific, I also love how that makes it like a treasure hunt! ^_~

And OMG, did I find some fun stuff! My favourites out of all the things that caught my eye were the adorable (super good condition!) panda plush and the Tamagotchi! <3 I got one of these as a present a few years ago when it was first in stores. I'm not sure where it went! I probably lost it in a move...RIP Bitsy! ;_; This one I bought from Golden Egg Flea Market does work, so let's see if I can keep Bitsy Jr. alive a liiiitttttllle bit longer! ROFL.

Tamagotchis (and stuffies too!) are honestly great companions when you need someone to play with/take care of/talk to so you don’t look like a weirdo talking to yourself, lol. They’re oddly comforting!

I totally recommend this shop if you have a long time to spend wandering! Like I said, it’s like a treasure hunt, and it could pay off big time.

Some cool businesses I’m working with are below!
